About the company:
"We are a New Zealand company offering a clothing range for babies and infants, supplying beautiful stores in New Zealand and exporting to the most beautiful stores around the world. The emphasis is on simplicity of design and comfort, styling is classical and non-fussy in gorgeous sophisticated colours. The ranges are definitive and certainly not part of the fickle seasonal fashion world.
The Cocoon Cotton range immediately evokes an impression of care and love, constructed and presented in a manner that belongs to an era when we all had more time to spare in a world where children could be children, where mountain streams were as fresh and clean as the air breathed. These garments are definitely not part of the 'mass produced' world. Because of the attention to detail and quality they cost more to make and, therefore, sit quite firmly at the upper end of the market.
Once again, what makes this story special is that this collection is fully-fashioned with the same attention to detail as their wonderful Merino range."
ABOUT COTTON
- Cotton is pure and grown naturally. It doesn’t contain any chemicals and it’s hypoallergenic, meaning it doesn’t irritate sensitive skin or cause allergies or asthma.
- Cotton is very soft, which is why it is the perfect choice to sit next to your child’s skin. The ends of cotton fibres are spun very tightly into the yarn so that the fabric doesn’t scratch or cause static electricity.
- Cotton is long lasting if well looked after.
- Cotton retains colour dyes extremely well.
- Cotton breathes, so it is cool for your child to wear and does not retain body odours and trap bacteria. It is also a good conductor of heat, actually drawing heat away from the skin.
- Cotton absorbs moisture easily, taking up to one fifth of it’s weight in water before it actually feels damp.
HOW TO CARE FOR COCOON COTTON AND BUD COTTON:
- Gentle Machine Wash (40°C)
